Today, we are going to answer some frequently asked questions about career! We had a chance to visit Lithuania's first unicorn "Vinted" and Vilnius university where we listened to a presentation about different types of studying especially in adulthood. So let's get into it!

In 2008, Milda Mitkute and a friend set up a website, because they wanted to get rid of their old clothes.
How diverse is Vinted's community?
1 out of 10 employees of Vinted is from outside the EU. We actually had the chance to meet with one of them and hear the story of his journey form Egypt!
How does Vinted prevent scams?
They actually use an AI system that detects most of the fake pictures that get uploaded. Vinted's community also warns users about telling signs.
How does Vinted make money if the seller gets all the money?
They actually have a protection fee, which allows users to send back items if they have a problem with it. This fee is usually between 3%-8%.
Vinted also has ads in the app so they can also make money of of that.
What do you mean you have different types of education?
You actually don't only study when you're in school, but you are always learning from your life experiences and hobbies too.
What can you study in adulthood?
There are plenty of times when you have to learn in your adulthood, for example when you start to build a family. In Lithuania you can find plenty of parenting clubs where parents share their experiences and tips among each other in order to learn.
Can grown up people still get education through formal and informal education in EU?
It is possible, but it's depending on your location and former experiences. There exist websites that shall fulfill your deepest desires to be a part of a course whilst you shall work at the same time, if chosen.
Are some countries more willing/better to educate the grown ups?
The world is a great place to learn from, but there is not the same possibilities everywhere you go. as seen from the chart the european education system is way beyond and more capable of delivering great results as to the average other continents.
